What We Do
The SRI Field to Healed Foundation is the nonprofit 501(c)(3) arm of Scottsdale Research Institute. We use an inquiring approach to discover and develop novel whole plant and medicinal fungi therapies to improve people’s lives.
We are dedicated to working closely with local, national and international regulatory agencies to provide access to high-quality, first-class cannabinoid pharmaceuticals to those critically in need of new treatments for life-threatening and debilitating conditions.
A Legacy of Innovation
Field to Healed benefits from its alliance with Scottsdale Research Institute, a Phoenix-based clinical-trials site dedicated to advancing the state of medical care through rigorous research. SRI strives to conduct high-quality, controlled scientific studies intended to ascertain the general medical safety and efficacy of cannabis and cannabis products and examine various forms of cannabis administration. SRI recently concluded the only federally authorized study of medical cannabis for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for military veterans and first responders in the United States.
We are a team of volunteer physicians and other health professionals dedicated to uncovering natural alternatives to conventional pharmaceuticals. We are neutral scientists seeking to collect objective, unassailable data on how medically active plants function to treat various illnesses — and ultimately, to publish all of this data in peer-reviewed medical journals.
The work of Field to Healed is all federally regulated, approved by FDA/IRB/DEA and federally legal, and we comply with all laws in every jurisdiction. Field to Healed conducts randomized controlled trials evaluating the safety and efficacy of natural plants and medical fungi for treating pain and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and providing an alternative to opioid addiction and dependence. Because we are focused on nonprofit drug development, all of our outcomes will be placed into the public domain.
